Hi, my name is Chef Rahil
Rahil found his passion for food at a very young age. Born in Gujarat, India Rahil has always seen all his relative and family members come together on several occasion, food was always a very important part of all the family gathering. After graduating from Hospitality Management in Edinburgh, Scotland. Rahil was hungry for knowledge and was passionate about food.
Rahil had the privilege of working in one of the best five-star hotel in Dubai where he honed his culinary skills as a young cook and developed himself into a professional chef.
For Rahil, Canada is home forever. Rahil is now a Sous Chef at the flagship property of Delta by Marriott. He is one of the key contributors for running a busy hotel Culinary department.
As of now Rahil is very about curious spices and on his free time, he is learning and experiments the roots of Indian Cuisines paired with local sustainable products.
To date, Rahil and his team has taken part in numerous competitions worldwide where he represented UAE and Canada and has won over 50 medals and trophies. His recent culinary competition was in Malaysia where he represented Canada at the Global Chef competition where he won "Best Veal Dish" and has brought Canada to number 6 in the world.
