Chef Charles 

Hi, my name is Chef Charles.  

A graduate of SAIT in Calgary, I have enjoyed varied experiences with restaurants in BC and Alberta, fostering relationships with local growers and farmers. Since arriving in Halifax I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with some incredible local chefs, while beginning my career as a chef instructor for The Chef Group, teaching several classes a week at community grocery stores. I absolutely love food; where it comes from, the stories behind the recipes and the secrets to making each ingredient shine. I believe cooking, laughing and eating together galvanizes a community, builds lasting meaningful relationships and helps us to understand ourselves and our friends in a way that no other activity can.
