Hi, my name is Tammy
I was raised in an entrepreneurial family who encouraged me to pursue my dreams. With that in mind, I dedicated more than 20 years to enhance the quality of life of my community by providing people with unique culinary and cultural experiences.
My exciting journey in the Food and Beverage industry began in 1996 while working in a fine dining restaurant in Bathurst, New Brunswick. That first work experience led me to develop my passion for great food, wine, scotch and cigars. Over the years that followed that first job, I extended my expertise through several diversified roles and responsibilities in the industry, such as restaurant manager, product specialist for Alcohol New Brunswick Liquor (ANBL), district manager for wine, beer and spirit companies.
I am also proud to have obtained my sommelier designation in 2006. My journey continued as a planner and coordinator to many successful events and festivals, such as Tipsy Mouse and the Shediac Lobster Festival. In other cases, I was also co-founder of prestigious new festivals such as Ocean Festive and ChocoLoco. Furthermore, I created Local Adventures bus tours to make people discover our local gems and entrepreneurs in the region, a great way for businesses to build a solid Team Spirit, to celebrate clients and staff or simply for adventurous groups to enjoy a great time amongst friends.
An avid traveler, I love to discover different cultures, amazing history and local flavors of various areas of the world. In Atlantic Canada, we have an array of cultural diversity in our people, beverages and cuisine. As I embark on this next chapter of my career, I plan to take along as many people as possible on other unique culinary and cultural experiences here at home while encouraging and helping them to expend their companies in all other wonderful corners of the world.
